Comus U.S. Tour Canceled

UK progressive / psychedelic folk rock band Comus have canceled their upcoming U.S. tour and therefore will not be appearing at The Studio at Webster Hall in NYC as scheduled. Bobbie Watson (Vocals/Percussion) has issued the following statement:

“Hello people….

Some very sad news I’m afraid. Due to visa problems, we are unfortunately unable to do our proposed tour of the East coast USA….
We are so disappointed, as half the tour had been confirmed and the other half was just about to be, but, to cut a long story short, we wanted to be sure of being able to travel freely between the UK & the US in the future – especially as we have so many devoted fans in the US – and as things stood, that was not guaranteed.
However, this is just a postponing, and we plan to resume when everything is in place to do so.
So sorry to disappoint you all……we are gutted, and were so looking forward to it.
On the bright side we have some UK dates on the calendar, (see them on this site), and we’re really looking forward to them too. Hope to see some of you there!

Bobbie”
