Life of Agony: Alan Robert signing session at Forbidden Planet

Life of Agony’s bassist/backing vocalist Alan Roberts will sign copies of his new horror/conspiracy miniseries at Forbidden Planet in NYC this Friday. See below for full details:

New York, NY (April 19, 2010)- To celebrate the release of his new horror/conspiracy miniseries – Wire Hangers (IDW Publishing), which goes on sale worldwide on Wednesday, April 21st, Life of Agony bassist/Spoiler NYC front man, Alan Robert, will be signing copies of the debut issue at Forbidden Planet – 840 Broadway, New York, NY 10003 on Friday, April 23rd beginning at 6:30pm EST.

In addition, ArtGuitar and Robert have teamed up to create a limited-edition, custom designed Wire Hangers RiffMaster™ guitar controller for Guitar Hero and Rock Band and will be giving one away to a lucky winner at Friday’s signing. This is no cheap plastic toy controller, but a full-sized wood controller. Add custom artwork from IDW’s Wire Hangers comic, and you’ve got yourself one wicked lookin’ axe! Check out an image of the controller here: http://www.wirehangerscomic.com/signing/

There will be multiple designs offered for these controllers, and multiple contests leading up to the release of Issue #2 (May), #3 (June) and #4 (July) of the Wire Hangers series, featuring different characters from the books.

Fans can pre-order Wire Hangers Issue #1 here: http://www.fpnyc.com/store/product/64811/Wire-Hangers-%231/
