Tool will embark on a North American headlining tour later this winter. A concert at IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ will go down on Wednesday, February 1st, 2012. Tickets go on-sale this Saturday, December 17th at 11AM.

If you recall, Tool’s last Tri-State area appearance was in summer of 2009 when the band headlined day 2 of the All Points West Music and Arts Festival in Jersey City. You can see pics from that night here.

Tool are currently in the writing process of their new album, the follow-up to their 2006 full-length, “10,000 Days”.

UPDATE 12/21/2011: YOB will open.
