Legendary New York City DIY space ABC No Rio hosted an afternoon of in-your-face hardcore madness over the weekend (1/7) that featured some of the best out of Philly with a touch of NYC. Local favorites Tiger Flowers kicked off the show with their chaotic noisecore tunes, so intense, it caused the lead singer to trip and literally shatter his ankle. Tiger Flowers play again TONIGHT at Lit Lounge, broken bones and all. Stoner rockers Backwoods Payback delivered the heaviness followed by recently reactivated NYC metalcore outfit Locked in a Vacancy, who played their first show in almost 5 years. A Life Once Lost brought the metal carnage as usual. ALOL’s new album is tentatively due this spring through Season of Mist. And All Else Failed (first NYC appearance since 2007) closed out the night with a devastating set. You can check out all the action below!
