After an almost eight month absence, Queens, New York’s Resolution15 have officially returned to the heavy metal music scene. The four-piece, violin-infused outfit spent the hiatus writing, recording, and mastering their kickstarter-funded new studio album, Svaha, the follow-up to their 2007 debut self-titled full-length record. The band hosted a free Svaha listening party on December 22nd at NYC metal mecca bar Duff’s Brooklyn.
Resolution15, sporting new bassist Mike Bendy, then headlined a rowdy The Studio at Webster Hall a week later on December 29th. The Manhattan gig featured support from local favorites Car Bomb and Bangladeafy. Our photographic coverage from the outing is now available below.
Svaha is scheduled to be released on January 15th. The Svaha Sessions, four singles originally released in 2011, can be streamed via Resolution15‘s Bandcamp page.
