A week ago today (10/5) Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg, with party rocker Andrew W.K. on vocals and Mark Neuman (ex-Sheet Terror) on guitar, invaded New York City’s Irving Plaza as part of Marky Ramone‘s ongoing world tour that kicked off in May at Santos Party House (which is co-owned by Mr. W.K.). Marky and the gang blasted through 35 songs most of which were Ramones covers (of course); including classic hits such as “Rockaway Beach,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll High School,” “The KKK Took My Baby Away,” “I Wanna Be Sedated,” and “Blitzkrieg Bop” (just to list a few).
