Australian metallers Capture The Crown recently completed a North American co-headline tour beside Minnesota’s For All Those Sleeping, dubbed the “Not Your American Idols Tour.” The jaunt, which also featured Ice Nine Kills, Palisades, Myka Relocate and Youth in Revolt, rolled through New York City last month on 10/5 for an intimate show at The Studio at Webster Hall.

We caught up with Capture The Crown vocalist Jeffrey Wellfare after the show to talk about the band’s recently released album on Artery Recordings, Reign of Terror (deluxe edition comes out on 11/24), as well as the group’s latest music video for their new single “Firestarter” (watch the pyro-filled vid at the end of this post). We also touched based on the band’s life on the road, among other shenanigans. Our full convo with Jeff, along with exclusive photos from their NYC set, can now be viewed below.

By the way, A LOT has happened since we last spoke with CTC, the band lost all its members aside from their leadman, due to debt (as per an official statement from Jeff). The outfit then added a new guitarist, bassist, drummer, and eventually recruited a second guitarist. The fresh lineup promises to continue touring and have also started writing new material. Make sure to keep up with all things CTC, by following them on Facebook.
