Hot off the heels of a massive North American tour as direct support for Judas Priest last month (did you catch our Brooklyn coverage?), west coast glam metal titans Steel Panther are currently wrapping up a December headline stint across the US. The highly-successful jaunt captivated a sold out showing at Gramercy Theatre in New York City this past Monday night (12/29).
The boys, adorning their best neon-colored spandex and big voluptuous hair, performed what might be the band’s biggest gig in The Big Apple to date. The packed house at Gramercy we treated to a filling 16-song setlist which also included a guitar solo from the charismatic Satchel and an epic hair solo from the sensuous Lexxi Foxx. Fans were treated to favorite songs such as “Asian Hooker,” “17 Girls in a Row” and “Community Property,” as well as newer tracks “Pussywhipped” and “Gangbang at the Old Folks Home” from the group’s latest album, All You Can Eat.
Steel Panther will now play a handful of dates in Vancouver, BC and Seattle, WA in January, followed by a series of “Threesomes,” two three-night residencies, in West Hollywood, CA and Las Vegas, NV in February. For full details head over to SteelPantherRocks.com.
