Sanctuary added to Overkill & Symphony X Terminal 5 show

A week ago today it was revealed that thrash icons Overkill and prog metal pros Symphony X will be teaming up for a gigantic night in NYC at Terminal 5 on October 17. What no doubt will be an incredible show just got even more awesomer thanks to the just announced addition of Seattle proggers Sanctuary to the lineup (their only 2015 U.S. appearance scheduled thus far). Pre-sale and VIP (meet-and-greet with the co-headline bands + show poster) tickets are on sale now through EnterTheVault. All other tickets will be released 3/14 through regular outlets.

Sanctuary, who recently welcomed live guitarist Nick Cordle (ex-Arch Enemy, ex-Arsis) to the fold – replacing the exiting Brad Hull, will soon set out to the UK for a string of headline dates as well as a few shows supporting Overkill (all dates here). Sanctuary are out promoting their third studio album (and first in 25 years), The Year the Sun Died, which was released last year on Century Media (watch/listen to the tracks “Frozen” & “Arise and Purify” below).

Sanctuary last played NYC in 2013 at a headline gig at Gramercy Theatre (see our pics from that show here).
