New Jersey metal greats Overkill and Symphony X embarked on a co-headline tour last month, which also boasted opening support from Seattle, WA-based heavy metallers Sanctuary. The 24-date crusade kicked off in Worcester, MA and came to an end in New York City at Terminal 5 in Hell’s Kitchen. Photos from the NYC show can now be seen in this post.
Overkill are on the road in support of their latest full-length album, White Devil Armory, which they unleashed last year, and according to a recent interview with SkullsNBones (while in NYC), the band have revealed plans to release a new LP next fall. Fellow Nuclear Blast label-mates Symphony X dropped their ninth studio album Underworld over the summer, producing the smash singles “Nevermore” and “Without You.” Sanctuary are shredding stages in support of last year’s The Year the Sun Died effort on Century Media.
