Ace Frehley to take part in “Origins Vol. 1” live interview in NYC

Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley will release his new covers album Origins Vol. 1 – which sees the rocker reimagining hits from legends such as The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and Thin Lizzy with the help from an all star lineup of guests like Slash, Lita Ford and Paul Stanley – on April 15th through eOne Music. In support of the new record and as previously mentioned, the iconic shredder is currently embarked on a winter through spring tour that kicked off in Texas last week. The run comes to our area next month for back-to-back shows at NYC’s B.B. King on April 11 & 12, a concert at LI’s The Paramount on April 13 and a gig at Poughkeepsie’a The Chance on April 16. Tickets are still available.

Prior to Ace‘s NY shows, The Spaceman will be in Manhattan for a just announced live interview at AOL Studios (770 Broadway) on March 23 at 5pm. Presented by BackStory, the event will be hosted by Guitar World Magazine’s editor-in-chief Brad Tolinski and will focus on Origins Vol. 1. Tickets to attend the interview are on sale now, here. Ticket holders will be allowed to sit in on the event, and will be given a limited edition autographed poster and complimentary beverages, as well as allowed to meet Mr. Frehley.

On the current tour, Ace is being joined by rhythm guitarist/vocalist Richie Scarlet, bassist/vocalist Chris Wyse (ex-The Cult) and drummer Scott Coogan (ex-Brides of Destruction). Check out all upcoming dates and stream Frehley‘s cover of the Cream hit “White Room” below.
