Car Bomb playing record release show at Saint Vitus (listen to new music)


New York’s own riffy mathcore act Car Bomb will be self-releasing their third studio album, Meta, on October 28th. The new effort was produced at Silver Cord Studio in Brooklyn with Gojira mainman Joe Duplantier. The band have thus far unleashed two new singles, “From The Dust Of This Planet” and “Sets,” with the latter track featuring an appearance from Suffocation frontman Frank Mullen. In support of the new LP, Car Bomb have booked a record release bash at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus for October 25 with Meek Is Murder and Circuit of Suns [tix].

Additionally and as previously mentioned, Car Bomb will tackle Blackthorn 51 in Queens for Candiria‘s record release party for their impending While They Were Sleeping LP [tix].

Lastly and as previously announced, Car Bomb will be joining forces with The Dillinger Escape Plan for the second half of their upcoming U.S. tour beside O’ Brother and Cult Leader. Car Bomb open The Paramount show in LI on November 18th [tix]. The tour (sans CB) also hits The Chance in Poughkeepsie on October 14th [tix] and Webster Hall in NYC on October 15th [tix].
