Local thrash metal legends Anthrax have been confirmed as co-headliners of the previously announced “Epiphone Revolver Music Awards,” which go down in New York City at Webster Hall on December 13th. The band will join the likes of co-headliner Megadeth, plus Zakk Wylde, Lacuna Coil, Stitched Up Heart, Ace Frehley, Bumblefoot, Pop Evil and Butcher Babies. More acts will be added to the event, stay tuned. Tickets are still available.
In addition, Anthrax have announced a special ‘Record Store Day’ (11/25) release in the form of a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl single for their tracks “Monster At The End” and “Vice of the People” (previously released only in Japan). Also, the band recently unleashed an acoustic version of their song “Breathing Lightning” from their latest effort For All Kings. The unplugged cut was recorded at a rock radio station in Texas last month (stream it below).
