Atlanta, GA metalcore giants Attila recently concluded their “Let’s Get Abducted” tour, which they kicked off in Memphis,TN on Valentine’s Day (Feb. 14). Featuring support from Bad Omens, Cane Hill and Vesta Collide (who replaced New Years Day after their vocalist Ashley Costello broke her foot), the U.S. winter trek winded down in Greensboro, NC last night (March 12), a few days after invading New York City for an intimate gathering at Irving Plaza on March 10.
Leaning heavily on tracks from their 2013 album About That Life and their 2016 Odyssey on SharpTone Records Chaos, Attila, led by whimsical mainman Chris “Fronz” Fronzak, elated the NYC audience with their animated performance, even at one point inviting fans onstage to help sing along to the track “Payback.” The band’s appearance incited a monstrous reaction from the Manhattan crowd, whose moshing eventually turned into a giant circle pit that wrapped around the sound board operator.
Next up for Attila, they’ll headline Air Hogs Stadium in Grand Prairie, TX later this month, which will be followed by extensive touring throughout UK/Europe in the spring (see all upcoming tour dates).
