In support of their latest album The Last Stand on Nuclear Blast, Swedish heavy / power metal battalion Sabaton are currently embarked on ‘The Last Tour’ in North America, boasting support form German-based symphonic metal crew Leaves’ Eyes and Finnish heavy metal squad Battle Beast.
Flaunting a colossal army tank drum riser and with a stage filled with vast military decor, Sabaton rumbled the PlayStation Theater stage in NYC on April 21, unleashing a beastly attack upon a very packed house. The band ejected various hits, not only from their latest album, but also select numbers from their older full-lengths: The Art of War, Heroes, Coat of Arms, Carolus Rex and Primo Victoria.
Leaves’ Eyes, featuring captivating new vocalist Elina Siirala, performed songs from their latest LP King of Kings, plus more. Meanwhile, Battle Beast made their NYC debut, earning a huge reaction from the Manhattan crowd as they played anthems from their latest effort Bringer of Pain and others.
