As part of a handful of exclusive concerts on the east coast, heavy/doom metal legends Pentagram descended upon New York City at Le Poisson Rouge last Saturday, April 22 for an unforgettable evening. The show saw Pentagram push forward without frontman Bobby Liebling, with the band explaining the reason being “due to circumstances that are beyond anyone’s control, that are a direct result of Bobby Liebling’s personal actions.”
Regardless, the band, featuring guitarist Victor Griffin on vocals, powered through numerous Pentagram songs from their early albums Pentagram and Day of Reckoning, discharging calssics such as “Death Row,” “All Your Sins,” “Sign of the Wolf (Pentagram),” “When the Screams Come” and “Wartime.” The show also featured phenomenal support from Brant Bjork, Royal Thunder and Black Wizard.
