Brendon Small taking part in an evening of conversation & music in Brooklyn (+ more)

Metal musician Brendon Small (ex-Dethklok) is gearing up for the release of his second solo album, the follow-up to 2012’s Galaktikon, titled Galaktikon II: Become The Storm (pictured above), which is slated for release on August 25 via Megaforce Records/MRI (pre-order). Ahead of the new LP’s unleashing, Brendon has premiered online the impending effort’s first two singles in the form of a short teaser for “To Kill A God” and a full version of “My Name Is Murder,” which have been posted below for your listening pleasure.

This Monday, August 7, Mr. Small will participate in an evening of conversation and music at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus. The event is presented by BackStory Events and Guitar World Magazine and starts promptly at 6:30PM, kicking off with an interview conducted by Saint Vitus’ own Arty Shepherd and Ron Grimaldi, and continuing with an audience Q&A, short performance and a fan meet-and-greet. The evening will also be streamed online by Guitar World Magazine. Tickets are still available for purchase¬†at this location.

Additionally, Brendon will appear at Forbidden Planet NYC (832 Broadway) on August 8 at 6PM to take part in an autograph session of his new six-issue comic book series, Galaktikon.
