Shred master Marty Friedman, well known for his past and current work with bands like Megadeth, Cacophony and Metal Clone X, is presently embarked on his ‘Wall of Sound Tour 2017,’ with Scale the Summit and The Fine Constant.

The month-long outing is in support of Marty Friedman‘s brand spankin’ new full-length solo album on Prosthetic Records dubbed Wall of Sound, which officially dropped yesterday (Aug. 4), the same night the guitar virtuoso stormed New York City for a record release bash at Highline Ballroom.

NYC fans were treated to a pair of new tracks off of Wall of Sound, debuting fresh songs “Whiteworm” and “Self Pollution.” Friedman also performed a slew of cuts from this Loudspeaker LP, along with select tracks from Inferno, Tokyo Jukebox, Music for Speeding and News of the World. The evening also saw Marty and band, rounded out by drummer Anup Sastry, bassist Kiyoshi and guitarist Jordan Ziff, perform cover songs from Queen, Boston, Elvis Presley and Ikimono-gakari.
