Four Year Strong premiere new song; playing Brooklyn this summer

Massachusetts punk rockers Four Year Strong are gearing up for the release of their new unplugged/rarities album, Some of You Will Like This, Some of You Won’t, on September 8 via Pure Noise Records (pre-order). The band recently revealed a new song (via Kerrang!), their first in 2 years, dubbed “Nice To Know,” which you can listen to below.

Speaking of the new track, Four Year Strong vocalist/guitarist Alan Day states:

This song was written during the writing process of In Some Way Shape Or Form, it was recorded to be on the album but was cut from the track listing last minute. This rendition is actually the fourth time we’ve recorded it, each time was very different, but this one is the first to feel like it’s meant to be heard.

Later this summer/fall, Four Year Strong will hit the road for shows commemorating the ten year anniversary of the band’s sophomore album Rise or Die Trying. The tour features support from their label mates Seaway and Like Pacific along with Grayscale and Life Lessons. The trek hits Brooklyn Bazaar for two shows: Sept. 8 [TIX] and Sept. 9 [TIX].
