Heavy metal pros Soulfly – led by the dynamic Max Cavalera, plus Marc Rizzo, Mike Leon, and Max‘s sons Igor Jr. and Zyon Cavalera – are in the process of concluding a giant North American tour which sees them performing 1994’s Point Blank (from Max‘s short-lived project Nailbomb) in full at every stop of the trek.
Donning support from Cannabis Corpse, Noisem and Lody Kong (ft. the aforementioned Cavalera bros.), the hefty run bombarded New York City on October 22nd at Gramercy Theatre, where, as promised, Soulfly discharged all 13 grueling tracks off of Point Blank, wrecking ears with aggressions such as “Wasting Away,” “24 Hour Bullshit,” “Cockroaches,” “For Fuck’s Sake.” “World of Shit,” and “Shit Piñata,” just to name a few.
There are only 4 more stops left on the “Soulfly does Nailbomb” tour, including tonight’s gig in Austin, TX. Additionally, the band recently announced a special price cut on their special Nailbomb baseball jerseys, which you can pick up on the tour (go get ’em!). All remaining dates are listed below.
