As part of their co-headlining North American trek, Washington, D.C. prog metal acts Periphery and Animals As Leaders stormed New York City at PlayStation Theater on November 9th, dazzling a packed crowd with help from support act and Long Island’s own Car Bomb.

Dubbed ‘The Convergence Tour,’ the run launched on Halloween in Columbus, OH and is set to run through December with a final stop going down in Denver. The outing sees Periphery performing hits from their latest release Periphery III: Select Difficulty, wrecking audiences with raging tracks “Motormouth,” “Remain Indoors,” “Prayer Position,” “The Way the News Goes…,” “Marigold,” and “Lune.” The band are also playing select favorites off of their 2010 self-titled debut, 2012’s Periphery II: This Time It’s Personal and their 2015 double album Juggernaut.

Not to be outdone, Animals As Leaders are also unleashing an enthralling set on this tour, captivating crowds with a slew of tracks from their latest opus The Madness of Many, dishing out songs “Arithmophobia,” “Ectogenesis,” “Cognitive Contortions,” “The Brain Dance,” “Private Visions of the World,” and “Inner Assassins.” Fans are also being treated to a handful of hits from the band’s 2009 ST LP and 2014’s The Joy of Motion.
