Metal titans Arch Enemy and Trivium are currently embarked on a massive co-headlining trek through North America, which features support from While She Sleeps and Fit For An Autopsy.
The 30-date tour made a stop in New York City on November 3rd for a jam-packed gathering at the remarkable PlayStation Theater. Arch Enemy closed out the night with a hefty 15 song set, featuring fan-favorite tracks like “Ravenous,” “War Eternal,” “My Apocalypse,” “Dead Bury Their,” “We Will Rise,” and the night’s closer “Nemesis.” Lead-woman Alissa White-Gluz, along with guitarists Michael Amott and Jeff Loomis, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, sounded ferocious in NYC, especially during new songs “The World Is Yours,” “Blood in the Water,” “The Race,” and “The Eagle Flies Alone” from their latest melodic brutality on Nuclear Blast, Will to Power.
Trivium played a huge set as well, exploding onstage with legendary rippers such as “Down From the Sky,” “Like Light to the Flies,” “Kirisute Gomen,” and “In Waves.” The charming Matt Heafy and band also introduced NYC to new tracks from their latest record The Sin and the Sentence, performing the LP’s title-track, plus “Betrayer,” “The Heart From Your Hate,” and “Thrown Into the Fire.”
