Finnish favorites Children of Bodom recently celebrated 20 years of melo-death metal greatness with a lengthy North American tour that kicked off on Halloween and ran until early December.
The commemorative run, titled ’20 Years Down & Dirty,’ featured support from Dutch symphonic black metallers Carach Angren, Finnish thrashers Lost Society and New York City’s own Uncured. The outing made a stop at Time Square’s PlayStation Theater on November 26th.
CoB enthralled NYC fans with heavy hitting tracks from their LPs Something Wild, Hate Crew Deathroll, Hatebreeder, and Follow the Reaper, dishing out rippers such as “Needled 24/7,” “Hate Me!,” “Downfall,” “Everytime I Die,” “Kissing the Shadows” and many more.
Next up for Bodom, they’ll enter the studio this winter to begin recording their new studio album, the follow-up to 2015’s I Worship Chaos, due for release sometime this year. The band will also play home country shows in June and July. Stay updated here.
