Pics: Architects & Stick To Your Guns crashed PlayStation Theater (2/17)

On Saturday night (Feb. 17th), despite the shitty weather, there was a great concert being held at PlayStation Theater in New York City.

Counterparts was booked and I was really looking forward to seeing them. Their last stop nearby was ‘Warped Tour 2017’ in Long Island where they had a great fucking show. They never disappoint. It was sad they couldn’t play this show due to a family emergency. They are back on the tour now, so fuck yeah!

Stick To Your Guns: I’ve listened to them before but never really got into them but seeing them live that night really did it for me. I now listen to them every day. STYG frontman Jesse Barnett said Architects‘s show was “gonna blow everyone’s fucking mind.”

Architects indeed blew everyone’s fucking mind, as they were so great and so heavy that someone broke their fucking leg. As I watched the poor kid being taken out fifteen minutes later, I was glad I didn’t have to sit there in that much pain. His leg was pointed the wrong way. That’s pretty brutal.

Architects‘ set featured plenty of new hits from their latest album, 2016’s All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us, with fans literally breaking bones to songs like “A Match Made in Heaven,” “Downfall,” “Gravity,” plus encore tracks “Nihilist,” and “Gone With the Wind.” The guys also played music off Lost Forever // Lost Together and Daybreaker, and even threw in their new single “Doomsday” for good measure.

It was a great show, and, if you’re reading this from outside of New York, you should catch the tour if it comes by your town.
