Pics: Enslaved, Wolves in the Throne Room, Myrkur & Khemmis slayed Irving Plaza (2/16)

The 2018 Decibel Magazine Tour is currently on its way! Led by Norwegian viking metal vets Enslaved, and featuring exceptional support from Wolves in the Throne Room, Myrkur and Khemmis, the 17-date crusade docked in New York City for an uproar at Irving Plaza on February 16th.

Horns in the air, a sea of metal fans clashed at the east village venue, rioting to classic Enslaved hymns like “Convoys to Nothingness” off 2001’s Monumension and “Vetrarnótt” from 1994’s Vikingligr veldi, along with modern tracks such as “Storm Son,” “The River’s Mouth,” and “Sacred Horse” from last year’s E, plus other hard-hitting songs.

We’ve got a ton of exclusive pics from the entire mythical gathering in NYC. Scroll through below for shots and all remaining dates.

In more Enslaved-related news, their guitarist/keyboardist/backing vocalist Ivar Bjørnson and Einar Selvik (Wardruna) are getting ready to release a collaborative album titled Hugsjá on April 20th via By Norse Music. Get more info HERE.
