Daughters sign w/ Ipecac; drop new song, playing shows

Daughters by Reid Hathcock

Yesterday, Rhode Island noise rockers Daughters officially announced they have signed with Ipecac Recordings for a “as-of-yet unannounced, but planned, 2018 release.” The announcement was accompanied by a stream to a new Daughters song titled “Satan In The Wait” — check it out below.

Speaking about the news, vocalist Alexis Marshall said:

Pleased to bring all you lovely people: ‘Satan in the Wait.’ The first new Daughters song in just more than eight years is an indication, of sorts…

Guitarist Nick Sadler added:

As longtime fans of many of the albums Ipecac has released, we are proud to be a part of their roster. We are looking forward to getting back on road and playing new songs.

Ipecac Recordings co-founder Greg Werckman wrote:

You don’t often get a chance to work with bands that you are already fans of. We are thrilled to have Daughters join the Ipecac family. A perfect fit and I guarantee the wait was worth it!

In addition, Daughters announced exclusive U.S. headlining concerts for this fall, kicking off with two AdHoc-presented shows in NYC; Brooklyn Bazaar on November 3 [just added – GET TIX] and Saint Vitus on November 4 [sold out].

The band also perform in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Denver, and Chicago; check out all announced gigs, plus more below.
