Cauldron drop new song “No Longer” from upcoming LP ‘New Gods’

Canadian heavy metal threesome Cauldron have just premiered (via Revolver) their new track “No Longer” from the band’s forthcoming full-length, New Gods (due out 9/7 on The End Records / Dissonance Productions).

“The latest single is ‘No Longer,’ a Scorpions-meets-Dokken-esque rocker that focuses on strong vocals and badass guitar licks to create their retro-leaning approach,” says Revolver of the new song. “Riffs are paramount, yet the quality of the band’s songwriting supersedes any potential genre trappings.”

Vocalist / bassist Jason Decay adds, “‘No Longer’ is a song that really came together and transformed into something unique with the melody. It is our first attempt at an acapella part and probably my favorite track on the record. Lyrically it’s pretty dark but out of that I think we got a pretty strong song.”

Stream “No Longer” below and pre-order New Gods at this location.

As mentioned, Cauldron will join up with Barrow Wight for east coast gigs, which includes a stop at Brooklyn’s The Kingsland (w/ Sanhedrin, Knight Terror) on September 8 [TIX].

Cauldron will also perform a record release bash in their hometown of Toronto in mid-September. Scroll down for all upcoming dates.
