Vitamin X on tour now; hitting the Tri-state area

In support of their Southern Lord debut dubbed Age of Paranoia (released back in May), Dutch hardcore punk rockers Vitamin X have made their return to North America (marking their first stateside trek in more than five years) for an October trip.

Guitarist Marc Emmerik comments, “We’re very excited to announce this tour, which will be our first time playing both the East and West Coasts on the same tour in more than ten years! This tour is gonna be crazy and we’ve got an amazing setlist playing all our classics and several songs from the new album Age of Paranoia. Can’t wait to make some new friends and see our old friends! See you in the pit!”

The tour kicked off in LA at The Resident on 10/1 with ACxDC, Trappist and Skullcrack, and will hit a handful of additional west coast markets before heading east for a show at New Brunswick, NJ’s E-Bloc on October 11, and Brooklyn’s The Kingsland on October 12 [TIX]. Fixation will provide support on both aforementioned gigs.

The run ends in Philly at Voltage Lounge on 10/13. As per the official announcement, the band “will be playing songs from Age Of Paranoia for the first time as well as their fan favorite and seminal tracks.”
