Riot V playing shows in 2019

Fresh off their ‘Apocalypse Over Europe’ tour with Primal Fear, New York City’s own heavy metal warriors Riot V are in the process of booking their first shows of next year.

So far, the guys have a handful of early summer U.S. gigs confirmed, including what’s sure to be a huge hometown appearance at NYC’s Gramercy Theatre on June 16 [TIX]. The band also performs in MI, CO, WA, OR, and more. What’s been announced thus far can be viewed below.

In more news, Riot V recently released a lyric video for their new single, “Caught In The Witch’s Eye,” off their new LP on Nuclear Blast dubbed Armor of Light. Regarding the track, the band says:

On every Riot record we try to break up the crazy fast songs with mid-tempo groovers, in the great tradition of Dio and Crimson Storm. DVS composed the music and Todd wrote the lyrics about a witch that wants to sell your soul to the devil type of tale, she promises to take away your troubles, but you’ll end up hating the cost you have to pay!

Watch the video for “Caught In The Witch’s Eye,” plus stream new singles “Heart of a Lion,” “Angel’s Thunder, Devil’s Reign,” and “Victory” after the dates.
