Tonight: Cruel Hand, Gay for Johnny Depp, Batillus, Primitive Weapons, Incendiary + secret guests at Death By Audio

Cruel Hand, Gay for Johnny Depp, Batillus, Primitive Weapons and Incendiary will team up for tonight’s ShineBox Recordings/ChronicYouth CMJ showcase at DIY music space Death by Audio in Brooklyn.

Tonight’s show will also feature special “secret” guests: LA-based hardcore band Strife and Boston’s Death Before Dishonor (Strife played Tee Pee Records’ CMJ showcase at The Mercury Lounge last night).

Doors at 7:00 PM, all ages, admission is $12.

Maine hardcore outfit Cruel Hand were scheduled to return to NYC on 11/26 and perform at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn with Backtrack, but it seems the show has been moved to Philly with Merauder headlining.

Death Before Dishonor were recently added to Suicidal TendenciesNYC show at Terminal 5 on 11/14 with Cro-Mags and Underdog. Advance tickets ($25) are still available.

Long Island, NY’s Incendiary will be in The Big Apple on 12/19 for Madball‘s NYC record release show at The Studio at Webster Hall with Bitter End and Lionheart, followed by a gig at Cake Shop on 1/8/2011 with 108 and Ensign.

Brooklyn blackened doomsters Batillus are gearing up for double booked duties this Saturday 10/23, starting with MetalSucks/1000Knives’ NYC CMJ showcase at Fontana’s with Powerglove, Wetnurse, The Binary Code, Pack of Wolves and Meek is Murder (Batillus go on first, 4:30 PM). The band will then rush over to BrooklynVegan’s BBG CMJ showcase at Union Pool to tear it up with The Body, Cough, Inter Arma and Royal Thunder. Batillus recently announced an East Coast micro-trek dubbed “Bleak November Tour”, with a stop at Coco66 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on 11/27 with Controlled Bleeding, Author & Punisher, Theologians + The Vomit Arsonist and All The Evil.
