New York thrash metal gods Anthrax closed out their tour with Testament and Death Angel a few days ago, February 8th, with a hometown appearance at New York City’s Best Buy Theater in the heart of Times Square (pics below!). Anthrax kicked-off the show with Worship/Earth on Hell, off of their latest album “Worship Music”, which dropped last year in the US through Megaforce Records and landed at position No. 12 on The Billboard 200 chart. You can purchase “Worship Music” via iTunes here. The show also commemorated the return of drummer Charlie Benante and bassist Frank Bello (who is Charlie‘s nephew) to Anthrax‘s live lineup. The two had missed a few shows due to the passing of Charlie‘s mom on February 4th. Anthrax‘s will now embark on a journey through South America and Europe for the remainder of the winter through spring. The band will be back on US soil over the summer to headline the Jagermeister Stage at this year’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.
