Twisted Sister frontman, and former Celebrity Apprentice contestant, Dee Snider has scheduled a benefit concert at NYCB Theatre at Westbury in Westbury, NY for Thursday, April 19th. The charity event is called “Jam For Autism” and will feature special guests Eric Bloom and Buck Dharama from Blue Öyster Cult, singer-songwriter/actress Debbie Gibson, John Hampson from Nine Days, Randy Jackson, Chad Kimball from Broadway’s Memphis, Mark Mendoza from Twisted Sister, Bobby Rondinelli of Rainbow and Black Sabbath fame, and Leslie West from Mountain. Tickets are still available.
Dee Snider will also appear at B.B. King in New York City on Sunday, May 27th. Local act Jac&Jill will open. Tickets are on-sale now.
In more news, Dee Snider is gearing up for the release of his new theatre-themed album titled, “Dee Does Broadway”, on May 8th through Razor & Tie. The first single off “Dee Does Broadway” dubbed “Cabaret” can be streamed below. Another new track titled “I Get A Kick Out Of You” is available for streaming on Dee‘s official Facebook page. May 8th will also mark the release of Dee‘s first-ever autobiography, “Shut Up And Give Me The Mic”, published by Gallery Books.
