On Friday, January 11th, Brooklyn, NY’s own female-fronted metal assault Alekhine’s Gun and Newton, NJ’s Seas of Wake – who have shared the stage with acts such as Slayer, Between the Buried and Me, White Chapel, Job For a Cowboy, to name a few – joined forces for a co-headlining show at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York City. The night also featured appearances by Leech (ex-members of Severed, The Judas Syndrome, Everything’s Ruined, Hellbound) and Valor.
The show marked Alekhine’s Gun‘s last show for a while so they can take some time off to write and record a fresh full-length album.
Seas of Wake are currently trying to raise funds so they can shoot a music video for their song “Dying of Humanity” from their Virology CD. If want to help, cruise over to the band’s Kickstarter page.
