Melvins announce summer tour with Le Butcherettes; playing back-to-back shows in NYC

In support of the reissue release of their 2001 album Electroretard, which is due out on June 2 through Ipecac Recordings, heavy rock experts Melvins have announced a summer North American tour with Mexican garage punks Le Butcherettes in tow. The seven-week-long tour will eventually see its way to New York City for back-to-back shows at Santos Party House on June 29 and 30. Tickets (night 1 & night 1) go on-sale tomorrow/today (3/11) at 10am. All other tour dates are below along with a full stream of Electroretard.

In more Melvins news, super fans are currently in the process of making a documentary about the band being called he Colossus of Destiny – A Melvins Tale, which now has a Kickstarter page to fund the project. The campaign has raised 30K of their 75K goal thus far with about a month more to go.
