Disturbed announce North American tour; NYC included

Disturbed_2015

Earlier this summer, hard rock giants Disturbed announced their return from a 4-year hiatus with the confirmation of their forthcoming sixth studio album, Immortalized, due out August 21st through Reprise Records. Since that announcement, the band has dropped four new singles; “The Vengeful One,” “Immortalized,” “Fire It Up” and “What Are You Waiting For,” which you can check out at the end of this post.

In support of the new LP, Disturbed will be heading out on a spring 2016 North American crusade, hitting a total of 19 intimate venues. The trek launches early March in Vancouver and advances through November with a final stop in Memphis.

Disturbed leader David Draiman just released the following statement regarding the impending run:

Our return from hiatus was for one reason: we are dying for our fix of the live experience. We need to satisfy our addiction to the feeling you get when you play to the most dedicated and vibrant fan base in existence, the Disturbed ones. We know the Arena shows will come, but we wanted to start out feeling like it did in the old days. Intimate, hot, and intense. We can’t wait. Prepare yourselves. The Leviathan has risen.

New York City will host the journey at Irving Plaza on April 4, with tickets set to go on public on-sale starting next Friday (8/21) at 10am. A full list of confirmed shows, plus new tunes continue below…
