New York City’s own thrash metal legends Nuclear Assault self-released a new EP dubbed Pounder earlier this summer, which might just be the band’s last recording with bassist Dan Lilker, who not too long ago announced his retirement from full time recording and touring. To coincide with the fresh release and to commemorate the band’s 30th anniversary, the gang set out on a “Final Assault” worldwide tour, which came together earlier this year and saw its final showing this past Saturday night (9/12) in NYC at Gramercy Theatre with help from Murphy’s Law and Whiplash. Exclusive shots from Nuclear Assault‘s set continue below.
Nuclear Assault will now perform two last shows, set to go down at Eindhoven Metal Meeting in the Netherlands in December and at MDF in Baltimore next spring. Follow the guys to keep track of all things NA.
