Metal Allegiance book surprise last-minute show in Brooklyn tonight

Heavy metal assembly Metal Allegiance (featuring members of Testament, Megadeth, Dream Theater and more) played a special headline set in New York City at Best Buy Theater just a few hours ago to celebrate the release of their debut self-titled album on Nuclear Blast (get it). The collective, boasting band members Frank Bello, Charlie Benante, Chuck Billy, David Ellefson, Alissa White-Gluz and a shit-ton of other rockstars and special guests, stormed through the heart of Times Square for what will go down as an epic and unforgettable night. The band dish out over 20 superb covers from the likes of Accept, Iron Maiden, Sepultura, Misfits, UFO, Metallica and many others.

In case you missed out on this one or just can’t get enough of the metal supergroup, you’ll have another chance to experience Metal Allegiance when they play Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus tonight (9/18) for a surprise last-minute gig that will see them recreating the 1978 Van Halen/Black Sabbath tour (expect tracks off of VH‘s S/T and BSMaster of Reality). Extinction A.D. and Magus Beast will open. Tickets are on sale now here and still available as of this posting (get’em quick).
