Chicago alt metal giants Disturbed are currently embarked on a sold-out North American headline tour, which kicked off earlier this year in Canada. The run sees the band tackling intimate venues across America, like their most recent stop in New York City at Irving Plaza this past Monday night (4/4) with Florida hard rockers Nonpoint.
NYC fans were treated to a hefty setlist from Disturbed, highlighting tracks from their latest LP Immortalized like “The Vengeful One,” The Light” and their Simon & Garfunkel cover “The Sound of Silence” (did you catch their epic performance on Conan?), as well as fan-favorite tracks such as “The Game,” “Liberate” and “Stupify,” and additional cover songs from the likes of Genesis, Nine Inch Nails, U2, The Who and Rage Against the Machine (w/ special guest Elias from Nonpoint). Speaking of Nonpoint, the Fort Lauderdale rockers kicked the night off with their amazing energy and entertaining banter (even at one point introducing themselves as Korn), while performing a healthy mix of songs from their past 8 albums.
As previously announced, Disturbed will be joining forces with Breaking Benjamin, Alter Bridge and Saint Asonia for a North American tour in the summer, which lands at Jones Beach on July 30 [tix]. Disturbed will also hit the road with Rob Zombie, Pop Evil and others — check out all upcoming shows here.
