Hard rock giants Halestorm recently wrapped up a series of North American headline tour dates with help from direct support act and rock legend Lita Ford and openers Dorothy. The tour landed at a super sold-out Webster Hall in New York City on April 27th. The chaotic night even featured a special live rendition of The Runaways‘ classic hit “Cherry Bomb” with Lita Ford, Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale and Dorothy herself (watch a live clip of that at the end of this post). More pics from the NYC concert can be viewed below.
On the horizon for Halestorm, the Grammy-winning act have a few more U.S. spring dates lined up alongside Lacuna Coil (who will be in NYC soon), Cilver and Rob Zombie. The band will also perform at high-profile fests such as “Rock ‘N Derby” in Schaghticoke, NY, “Gods of Metal” in Italy and “Rock Am Ring” and “Rock Im Park” in Germany. Additionally and as previously mentioned, Halestorm will return to our area on August 7th at the new Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk, as part of the 2016 “Carnival of Madness” tour with Shinedown, Black Stone Cherry and Whiskey Myers [tix on sale now]. See all upcoming tour dates here.
Halestorm are on the road supporting last year’s Into the Wild Life LP on Atlantic Records — stream their latest single “Mayhem” after the gallery.
