Led by the fine people over at Black N’ Blue Productions, New York City’s most notorious hardcore/metal fest “Black N’ Blue Bowl” returned to Manhattan’s Webster Hall a few weeks back on May 14. The intense gathering featured ground shattering performances thanks to a stacked lineup consisting of American Nightmare, Adolescents, Madball (who played Demonstrating My Style w/ Matt Henderson), Hazen Street, Leeway, Billy Club Sandwich (reunion, also playing LI on 8/26), Rykers, Rhythm of Fear, Blind Justice and Regulate. Fresh new photos from NYC can now be viewed via this posting.
Black N’ Blue Productions also threw a Day After Show party on the following evening (5/15) at the Bowery Electric, presenting sets by Subzero, Hangman, The Wilding Incident, Examine, Impact, The Drew Stone Hit Squad and DJ Sid The Kid. Speaking of Examine, the NYHC gang are scheduled to play BK’s Grand Victory on July 3rd with Decimate The Living, None Above All and more [tix tba].
