Brooklyn’s own alt metal/rock outfit Life of Agony have confirmed April 28th as the official release date for their fifth studio album and first full-length release through Napalm Records dubbed A Place Where There’s No More Pain. The new LP is still in the final stages of mixing and will soon be completely mastered in NYC with help from Ted Jenson (Alice in Chains, Machine Head, Deftones). Additionally, the new effort marks the follow up to the band’s 2005 album Broken Valley.
In support of the impending record, LoA have booked a string of Northeastern album release shows for this spring. New York stops on the journey include NYC at Irving Plaza on April 28th, Poughkeepsie at The Chance on April 29th and Long Island at Mulcahy’s on May 13th. Get tickets.
