Misfits’ Doyle to release new LP “As We Die” (preview a track); going on U.S. tour this spring (playing NY)

Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, best known as the guitarist of horror punk legends Misfits, will be releasing his second solo album, the follow-up to 2013’s Abominator, on May 5 via Megadeth bassist David Ellefson‘s EMP Label Group and Doyle‘s own Monsterman Records. The new LP is titled Doyle II: As We Die and has so far spawned the single “Run For Your Life,” which you can preview below.

Doyle, along with his band consisting of Cancerslug vocalist Alex ‘Wolfman’ Story, bassist Brandon Strate and drummer Brandon Pertzborn, are currently stomping through UK/Europe on their “Abominator Invasion Tour.” A U.S. leg of said run has just been confirmed to take place on the east coast this March and April.

The 23-date onslaught hits New York for a trio of shows; Manhattan at Gramercy Theatre on April 15 [tix on sale 2/24], Rochester at Montage Music Hall on April 21 [tix on sale 2/24] and Poughkeepsie at The Loft on April 22 [tix]. The run also hits nearby Richmond, VA, Long Branch, NJ and Reading, PA.

Phoenix industrial metallers Element A440 will provide support on all U.S. dates, which are posted after the break.
