As part of the 2017 Decibel Magazine tour, metal heavyweights Kreator and Obituary teamed up with blackened speedsters Midnight and deadly bringers of carnage Horrendous for the trek’s second-to-last stop, which went down in New York City at Irving Plaza this past Friday, April 14. Full photographic coverage from the sold-out thrashing in Manhattan can now be viewed in this post.
Both Kreator and Obituary are out supporting their 2017 studio albums, Gods of Violence via Nuclear Blast and Obituary on Relapse Records, respectively. Kreator will soon hit the festival market in Europe, pounding through fests such as ‘Hellfest’ in France and ‘Wacken Open Air’ in Germany (get all dates). As for Obituary, they’ll return to NY on May 19 for a gig at Long Island’s Amityville Music Hall with Gruesome, All Out War and Extinction A.D. [TIX].
Midnight‘s latest full-length No Mercy for Mayhem and Horrendous‘ newest LP Anareta are out now.
