Doro Pesch to celebrate Warlock’s ‘Triumph and Agony’ on upcoming run (coming to NYC)

Doro live at Gramercy Theatre in 2014…

Thirty years ago German heavy metal band Warlock released their fourth and what would be their final studio album, Triumph and Agony, via Vertigo / Mercury Records, spawning the legendary hits “All We Are,” “Three Minute Warning” and “I Rule the Ruins.”

To celebrate the album’s 30th anniversary, Warlock singer Doro Pesch will perform said classic LP in its entirety on two European festival dates, plus in select U.S. markets this summer. Doro will be joined by original Triumph and Agony guitarist Tommy Bolan, along with bassist Nick Douglas, drummer Johnny Dee, guitarist Bas Maas and guitarist / keyboardist Luca Princiotta.

Speaking of the upcoming trek, Pesch declared:

Triumph And Agony was our breakthrough album in America and it’s still one of my absolute favorites! I’m so excited to play some of these songs for the first time and I’m so much looking forward to play with Tommy again. I’m sure it’s gonna sound great and we’ll put on a killer show.
