Lords of Acid

Celebrating their successfully Kickstarter-funded new album titled Pretty in Kink, Belgium post-industrial veterans Lords of Acid are in the process of wrapping up their first North American tour in six years.

The foray ignited in late September in the midwest with help from aggrotech misfits Combichrist, plus deathrock legends Christian Death, En Esch (ex-KMFDM), and additional acts in select markets. The trip landed in New York City on Thursday night (October 26th) at Gramercy Theatre, where Lords of Acid performed a slew of cuts from their iconic 1994 LP Voodoo-U, bringing the dance with classics like “Dirty Willy,” “Drink My Honey,” “Mister Machoman,” “Out Comes the Evil,” and “The Crablouse.” LoA also pulled out select hits from their efforts; Our Little Secret, Farstucker, and Lust, ending their past midnight parade with the favorite “I Sit On Acid.”
