Heavy metal greats Ross the Boss – featuring Ross himself, plus Marc Lopes on vocals and keys, Mike LePond on bass, and new drummer Steve Bolognese – recently set out on a spring excursion labeled the ‘By Blood We Tour.’
The journey landed in New York for a handful of shows, including a stop at the intimate Saint Vitus in Brooklyn on March 9th. The tour / NYC show featured a set consisting of only legendary tracks from power metal icons Manowar, a band Ross performed guitars / keyboards and wrote songs for in the ’80s.
A Friday night crowd at Vitus raised their horns and fist-pumped furiously to Manowar classics such as “Blood of the Kings,” “Blood of My Enemies,” “Fighting the World,” “Sign of the Hammer,” “Battle Hymn,” “Hail and Kill,” and more. Sounding huge on such a tiny stage, the band didn’t hold back, bringing metal mayhem to Greenpoint.

In more news, Ross the Boss are gearing up for the April 20th release of their third studio full-length album, By Blood Sworn, on AFM Records. The new record features songs “This is Vengeance,” “By Blood Sworn,” “We Are The Night,” and more.
