Trauma releasing new LP; touring this month

Responsible for ’80s hits like “The Day All Hell Broke Loose” and “Lay Low,” and currently led by co-founder / vocalist Donny Hillier and longtime drummer Kris Gustofson, San Francisco thrash metal vets Trauma recently signed a deal with The Orchard/Sony for the release of their new album, As The World Dies (the follow-up to 2015’s Rapture and Wrath), on May 11th. An official press release reads:

With an eye on the past but focused on the future, “AS THE WORLD DIES”, produced by guitarist Joe Fraulob, is certain to be a landmark third album, staying true to their signature sound that came before but with a very modern edge.

The impending LP consists of 10 new tracks, which are listed below, along with the record’s cover.

In addition, Trauma will hit the road this month for U.S. tour dates, including a stop at Buffalo’s Mohawk Place (w/ The Impurity, Coffin Hook, God’s Creatures, A.C. Anton) on April 23 [TIX] and Brooklyn at The Kingsland (w/ Knight Terror, Vision Serpent, Eat Lead) on April 25 [TIX].
