Ohio hardcore/metal beasts Ringworm recently concluded a brief round of headlining summer tour dates across the east coast with great support from Missouri proggy thrashers Black Fast and Maryland black metal heretics Cemetery Piss. The aggression exploded in Buffalo, NY at Mohawk Place earlier this month and blasted through a total of 9 eastern markets before concluding in Cincinnati this past weekend.
Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus hosted the trek a week ago today (July 16th), featuring a pummeling set from Ringworm, highlighting hits from their latest album Snake Church and more. Black Fast (did you catch our recent Q&A with drummer Ross Burnett?) used Vitus to celebrate the unleashing of their latest ripper Spectre of Ruin, and Cemetery Piss completely ravaged earlier in the evening.
We’ve got exclusive shots from Brooklyn in this post.
Ringworm will now return to the studio to work on their new LP, and will soon join up with Gwar and Hatebreed for fall shows (dates).
Next up at Saint Vitus:
7/24 – The Ominous Circle, Scorched, Glorious Depravity
7/25 – Bongripper, Godmaker [sold out!]
7/26 – Bongripper, Amarok, Somnuri [sold out!]
