Beartooth announce new LP ‘Disease,’ touring w/ Knocked Loose & Sylar

Ohio rockers Beartooth have announced full details regarding their third studio album release. The effort is dubbed Disease and is scheduled to drop on September 28th via Red Bull Records / UNFD.

“Disease is a painstaking, riff-driven examination of the unshakeable throes of depression. While there are moments of positivity, this isn’t the sound of triumph,” declares the official announcement. “This is music about survival.”

Speaking further upon the upcoming effort, leadman Caleb Shomo says: “The album is a whirlwind of emotion. Crazy highs, crazy lows, and lots of intensity. This record isn’t about winning anything. It’s about trying to even begin to learn how to deal with things. It’s hard to process just how dark you can get, what you can really put yourself through with expectations. It’s like starting from the beginning all over again. At the end of the day, it is a very dark album.”

To coincide with the album announcement, the band have officially released an official music video for Disease‘s title-track. Listen / watch below.

Additionally, Beartooth have announced a fall headlining tour through North America featuring support from Knocked Loose and Sylar. The run hits NY at Albany’s Upstate Concert Hall on September 19 [TIX tba], Brooklyn at Warsaw on September 21 & 22 [TIX on 7/27], and Rochester at Anthology on September 25 [TIX on 7/27].
