Electronic rock act The Black Queen – featuring Greg Puciato (ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan), Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv, ex-Puscifer) and Steven Alexander Ryan (who used to be a technician for Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle) – have confirmed their first, full-blown North American tour.
“Our energy is so high right now following our recent run of European shows, and we’re grateful and excited to keep it going and to finally, after a few years of only playing Stateside shows here and there, be able to come play everywhere we can in North America,” states Puciato in a press release. “Excited to have Uniform with us, as well as Kanga and SRSQ. We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time, so come out, let go, and get lost with us for a night or two.”
Following a string of sold-out appearances in Australia, The Black Queen will kick off their first North American tour late February in San Diego, CA, and as Greg says, the tour will feature support from Uniform in most markets, plus Kanga (from 2/22-3/9), and SRSQ (from 3/11-3/28). The outing eventually heads to the east coast for a stop at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 8 [TIX]. The tour concludes in Los Angeles at the end of March; get a complete list of tour dates below.
Additionally, The Black Queen have just premiered (via Revolver) their video for the single “Thrown Into The Dark,” off of their debut album, Infinite Games. Watch the clip after the dates.
